Happy New Year

Well, it sure was an interesting year for us at frevvo … from major partnerships to big customers to some big disappointments as well. Excited about 2011 – it’s going to be great.

I’ve seen first hand how lack of clean water affects poor kids in India. Check out charity: water if you’re looking to get in those end of year donations.

Super-easy Vacation Request workflow

Most companies have a lot of completely unstructured (ad-hoc) workflows like Vacation Requests, Expense Reports etc. These aren’t typically created by IT using workflow products. They’re either handled using paper and manual routing or Word/Excel documents and e-mail.

This is where a product like Live Forms with workflows can add so much. Take a look at the video below. It shows you in 3 minutes how you can easily create a Vacation Request workflow with frevvo with multiple participants, task lists, digital signatures, and automatic routing.

Real-world forms for Google Spreadsheets

Do you need to create real forms with real features like multi-column layouts and automatic validation and save the data to an online Google spreadsheet? Event registrations, surveys, contact forms, you name it … we’ve heard over and over again that Google’s forms are just too simplistic.

With frevvo Live Forms, it’s a snap. Check out this 3 minute video to see how easy it is.

Of course, the form in here is simple but you can create forms as complex as you want and easily save them to a Google spreadsheet. We use this all the time for webinar registrations, demo signups for our own products.

Surveys, Event Registrations … in Confluence. Download to Excel.

How can you expand your Confluence-based Intranet so that your employees can do some of the common things organizations do like surveys and event registrations without needing a programmer every time?

What if your marketing employees could create a Confluence page, add a webinar registration form to it, view the registrations in Confluence or download them to Excel?

With Live Forms for Confluence, anyone can do it. See how easy it is in this video (less than 3 min)

Drop-dead simple Confluence Workflows

Workflows, in particular, simple approval workflows are extremely common at business organizations of all sizes. For example:

  • An Expense Report that must be approved by your Manager
  • Vacation Request that needs approval
  • Patient Referrals where a Nurse or Physician’s Assistant fills out the top part of a form, a Doctor has to sign it and then send it to the hospital
  • Issue Tracking where an Employee creates an internal support issue and admin support staff take multiple actions on the issue before closing it

It’s easy to automate these workflows using Live Forms for Confluence. You can view a 7 minute video or read this article in the documentation.

We’re excited about these powerful, easy-to-use workflows seamlessly integrated into Confluence. We think customers are going to find them super useful too.
